WADE CALDWELL \nAttorney at Law\, Caldwell Clark Fanucchi & Finlayson\, PLLC \nWade’s practice has included a wide range of oil and gas law and commercial litigation with an emphasis on representation of mineral owners\, heavy equipment dealers\, real estate\, construction\, DTPA\, collection litigation\, and other complex commercial disputes.  He is the Past National President of the National Association of Royalty Owners (NARO) (2021-2023)\, Past President for the NARO Texas Chapter (2018-2020)\, and is currently on the NARO-Texas Board. \nMr. Caldwell also has substantial experience in class actions\, employment\, product liability\, antitrust\, insurance and bankruptcy litigation. He also helps manage family ranching and mineral interests for extended family. \nMr. Caldwell has extensive trial experience and was previously the managing member of Caldwell Clark Fanucchi & Finlayson\, PLLC (CCFF) from 2007-2016.  CCFF was top ranked in San Antonio’s Chambers Spotlight in 2025. He has been or is currently recognized by BL Rankings in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation and Oil and Gas Law\, Thompson Reuters Super Lawyers for Energy & Natural Resources Law\, and Best S.A. He has worked in the oil & gas industry for 36 years. He served as President of the Petroleum Accountant’s Society of Fort Worth in 2003. He was the President of the Petroleum Accountant’s Society of San Antonio and currently has been serving as a board member since 2021 for the COPAS National Organization. Kirk holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington and is a Certified Public Accountant. He began his career in 1990 working for Union Pacific Resources (UPR) in Fort Worth\, TX. He worked for UPR for 10 years until Anadarko Petroleum bought the company in 2000. He chose to stay in Fort Worth and was hired by Burlington Resources (BR). He worked for BR for seven years until ConocoPhillips bought the company in 2007. He again chose to stay in Fort Worth and was hired by EOG Resources. After eight years of working for EOG in the Fort Worth division\, he transferred to San Antonio to work in EOG’s Eagle Ford division’s operations accounting group. He currently works as an audit consultant for Kirk Foreman Consulting (KFC). \nCouncil of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS)\, Inc. is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
