BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

By becoming a member of COPAS-San Antonio, you will learn more about the petroleum industry’s best accounting practices, standards, and guidelines…opening up exciting new avenues for you and your career!

Membership is available to any person actively engaged in accounting in the energy industry or providing services to energy accounting professionals.  Memberships run from September through April. Membership includes:

• Free registration to our four luncheon series including opportunities to earn up to 6 hours CPE credit throughout the year
• Free registration to our networking events 
• A one-year subscription to the ACCOUNTS magazine, issued from COPAS
• Access to resources and training materials from COPAS
• Access to our local career opportunities and job positing board
• Access to our interactive forum
• Access to advanced certification through the APA program offered by COPAS with discounted rates for members

The annual membership fee is $300 / year.

With a COPAS membership you can become a member of a task force, chapter committee, engage in the development of the accounting standards and guidelines and take advantage of the networking opportunities with fellow oil and gas associates!

SCHOLARSHIPS

The mission of the PASSA Scholarship Program is to help those students seeking a career in accounting obtain their goals through higher education.  We are in need of a new scholarship chair, so please reach out if you would like to volunteer.
